Ms. Bruman has extensive experience in handling Deceptive Trade Practice Act (DTPA) claims and related claims of fraud, business defamation, antitrust, trade secret litigation, and tortious interference with contracts, among other claims. Elizabeth Bruman has successfully represented numerous clients in Merchant to Merchant Disputes and litigation.

Following a judgment, Ms. Bruman handles debt collection on both judgments and civil appeals. In her appellate work, she expands the matters she handles to include any area of civil law, whether or not she performs trial work in these areas.  For example, she is an experienced family law appellate attorney as well as commercial issue-oriented appellate attorney.  Her appellate practice includes ordinary appeals as well as restricted appeals, original proceedings, equitable bills of review, and petitions for discretionary review.  Ms. Bruman also handles federal appeals.
